- Tween/Teen Spa Day - Brush and Barrel
- Dec 30th - 2:00 pm
- For ages 8-16. Each guest will make a scented bath salt and pour their own custom candle scents.

- Big Grove Kids New Year's Eve Party - Big Grove Brewery
- Dec 31st - 11:00 am - 6:00 pm
- Kids can come bust a move on the dance floor while enjoying a $5.00 all-you-can-eat cake pops, cotton candy, and popcorn. Countdown/ball drop at 1:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
- The event is free to attend but please go to the brewery's Facebook and mark "going" so they can be prepared for your child's visit.
- Noon Year's Eve Ball Drop - Robert A. Lee Community Rec Center
- Dec 31st - 11:30 am
- Celebrate New Year's Eve with a pool party and exciting beach ball drop once the clock strikes noon.

- Scheels Ice Rink - Penn Meadows Park
- Starting Jan 1st till Feb 28th
- Free!
- North Liberty’s free outdoor 100-foot by 115-foot rink has been installed for the season in Penn Meadows Park. Bring your own skates or check out figure or hockey skates from the North Liberty Community Center (520 W. Cherry St) at no charge. Check the ice rink conditions online before heading out to the park.
- Sunday Fun Day: Colorful Paper Tube Owls - Iowa City Library
- Jan 2nd - 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm
- Free!
- Kick-off this year's Winter Reading Program theme "Reading is a Hoot" by stopping by the Storytime Room to customize a colorful, wintry toilet paper tube owl.
