4th of July means fireworks! Here are 4 places you can find fireworks throughout the holiday weekend…


Iowa City

Happening on the second day of the Summer of the Arts’ Iowa City Jazz Festival, but be sure to come early to find a spot. With Grammy award-winning jazz singer Kurt Elling and the SuperBlue band performing with guitarist Charlie Hinter their performance, there will already be crowds due to the festival. The fireworks will immediately follow their performance. 

Date/Time: July 2nd after 9:30 PM (will start following live performance)

Location: The University of Iowa Pentacrest at 21 N. Clinton St.


Oxford

The town is hosting a pre-Independence Day fireworks show. 

Date/Time: July 3rd at Dusk 

Location: Creekside Park on Mill Street


Hills

The town is hosting a pre Independence Day fireworks show. 

Date/Time: July 3rd at Dusk

Location: Hills City Park at 201 W. Main St


Coralville

Back by popular demand the 4thFest will be hosting a multi day celebration which will end with a amazing fireworks display on the 4th. 

Date/Time: July 4th at 9:45 PM 

Location: S.T. Morrison Park at 808 Fifth St
