- Holiday Traditions Weekend at Tannenbaum Forest - Amana Colonies
- December 17th- December 19th (All Day Event)
- Visit and see the twinkling lights of over 40 decorated real Christmas Trees and a 17-foot German-style Christmas pyramid all in a century-old dairy barn. A goodwill offering is collected with proceeds benefiting the University of Iowa Children’s Hospital.
- The Holiday Markets - Robert A. Lee Community Rec Center
- December 18th at 8:00 am
- Farmers market vendors and artists will have handcrafted holiday gifts and food available for purchasing.
- Breakfast with Santa - Hyatt Regency Coralville Hotel & Conference Center
- December 18th at 8:30 am
- Kids will get to meet Santa, have a photo-op, enjoy holiday crafts and activities, plus take home a special gift! Two seatings will be available for reservations: 8:30am – 10am and 11am – 12:30pm
- Pricing: Adults: $29.00, kids (4-12 years old): $15.00, kids (3 and under): Free Reservations are required.

- Santa Brunch - Cedar Ridge Winery

- Winter Break Mini Camp - Iowa Children's Museum
- December 20 from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm
- Children will get play opportunities and enrichment experiences that allow kids to imagine, create, discover and explore the museum. Children can also check out special activities like art-making stations and basic coding challenges with Bee-Bots. This three-hour play session will allow kids to “choose their own adventure” with a variety of fun ways to play.
